Oh, don't worry, I know that. I leave them on because, as I said, 
they get my attention.

Actually, I have "bounce application icon" turned off. I much prefer 
Fire's own pulsing (or "flashing") instead, so I have that turned on, 
and that's what I was referring to. Maybe if I hadn't been using Fire 
in the days before Apple's bouncing dock icons existed, I'd have 
stuck with that, but I've always liked Fire's pulsing icon.
