A couple notes on the new buddy list.
1. It's not done yet.
2. It's not done yet. It's a work in progress. But I wanted to start
getting feedback on it.
3. Context menus are not in place yet. Please don't point this out.
4. There is an issue with the view control disappearing when switching to
or from the Setup view. I'm aware of this issue. TO GET THE CONTROL BACK,
change the toolbar display mode (ie, change from Icon Only to Icon & Text).
5. In Text Only mode, the Status menu is screwy. In either Icon mode, it's
fine. Not sure why.
6. Remember that icons go through beta stages as well. Feedback is
welcome, but please be more expressive than "ewww". (If you like them,
point that out, too.)
7. There is a display glitch with the disclosure triangles and the status
column with non-white backgrounds. This may include when the row is
selected.
8. The Offline Buddies group is gone. (If you want to see offline buddies,
switch to All view.) You can make the Accounts group disappear, or you can
leave it there.
9. Drag and drop should be improved. Let me know if something acts
strange.
Boy, that makes it sound like this thing's a step backwards. But it's not.
Really. Synch with TOT and try it out. Let me know what you think.
