Hi All...

I just wanted to have ma say on this debate. I like Eric's new
implementation of window control built into the buddy list. This is
because i use the buddy list as my control center for Fire. Moving the
function of controlling Fire out of the buddy list to the message/chat
windows makes no sense to me. Sure i use the dock menu to control
fire... but this is usually only when i dont want to bring fire to the
front... say just to change my status.

This new feature has a much more flexible way of controlling your
conversations... the whole way this feature works makes it totally user
definable... ranging from not using it at all to having it take over the
entire buddy list... this is a much better solution to tabbed windows..
And yes it also overcomes my biggest bug with tabbed windows... if you
close the window you close all the tabs in it... and any unread messages
will be lost.... Ok ok... i hear ya.. there is the conversation
history, but that is just not acceptable in this situation.

What if i have lots of windows... well i use the dock... thats what it
there for. then when the Fire icon bounces a give it a slap and up pops
the buddy list with all the info i need to keep my conversations under
control...

What an excellent idea Eric!!! I love it...

Oh boy can a kiss ass... LOL

John
