I've been noticing something odd...
I use the shareware program 'Xounds' which replaces the appearance sounds
from OS9. One of the sounds an event for what appears to be a system 'form
draw' or new creation of a window. And likewise there is one for a form
un-draw or window closing, or whatever you want to call it.
Anyway, I notice that when I quit Fire right after launching it, I get the
window close sound effect once. But if I quit Fire after it's been running
for a very long time, I sometimes get the window-close sound effect up to 50
times very quickly before Fire finally quits itself, yet I have no windows
open in Fire except for the buddy list. (That's no exaggeration... Sometimes
I'm sure it must make the sound effect over 50 times or more.)
Sorry if this is nothing, but it sounds to me like whatever is causing these
sounds is probably eating up memory while Fire is running.
Also sorry if this has been fixed already in the TOT, I'm using the latest
release version of Fire. (0.30.b)
