Being the current list manager, I am open to suggestions...
To me, one list seems like enough, considering Fire borders on a developers' IM client
anyway, but there have been requests for the following seperate lists:
-digest version
-seperate developer and user lists
-an announcements-only list (ie new versions, etc)
-and now localization-specific lists
The only reason I don't just go ahead and get these going as soon as people request
them is because I just see one email from time to time about it, and it doesn't seem
like a problem for the majority. Another thing is monetary cost, as it would cost
more money to get them going, and I am but a poor college student.
What I am asking for from the general list reader is that you send an email to
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and tell me which lists you would like to see started, whether you
think there should be a website at www.firelist.org with better list-on/off
instructions, and whether you would be willing to donate two or three dollars to help
buffer my personal cost in operating all this. The current list is my personal
donation to the Fire community.
Thank you all for paying attention to me. Thanks Fire developers for the great work,
and keep it up.
