True, but I think that its far worse now than it could be. I.e. here are the three choices for regular users (mind you, I'm still trying to learn Cocoa myself so I can fix these annoyances myself) Now: Windows always take focus, constantly interrupting chat and mixing text typed across chat windows Short term fix: Windows never take focus. User has to click. At least then normal chat operation won't be interrupted. Long term fix: Windows take focus when no chat is going on. Windows do not take focus when a chat is going on. -- Alex Kac, CEO/Developer Innovation in Personal and Business Information Management http://www.pocketinformant.com/ zoomzoom > From: Jason Townsend <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Date: Wed, 17 Jul 2002 23:58:28 -0700 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: very annoying > > {#} Replies are directed back to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > {#} To reply to the author, write to Jason Townsend <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Known problem. > > Unfortunately it's not as simple as "never bring windows forward".
