Folks: UCLA changed the server software on me, and that means that
handling your own settings is different for you, too. Fortunately, it
should be relatively self-explanatory.
1. If you need to change any settings, just go to the administration page
that's linked to at the bottom of each e-mail
(http://lists.ucla.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/firearmsregproflaw).
2. To change your options, you need to know your password. To get it
e-mailed to you, go to the bottom of the page I link to above -- there's a
form that will make the software send you the password.
3. Once you have that, you can easily use the administration page to
unsubscribe, set digest mode, resubscribe, change your password (I recommend
you do that, so you can select one you can remember), and so on.
4. DIGEST MODE SUBSCRIBERS: The changeover switched you back out of
digest mode. Just follow the instructions above, and you can reset digest
mode.
5. To post messages to the list, send them to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] . The old address no longer works; also,
replying to a message now just replies to the sender (a safety feature).
