Since we're on the subject, and the expert members of this list
are providing free research help, were there other colonial / early
state gun restrictions based on religion other than (1) the 1637
restriction on Anne Hutchinson's group in Massachusetts, and (2) the
1756 -- i.e., French-and-Indian-War era, where the colonies were
fighting a Catholic foe -- restriction in Maryland? Thanks very much,
