At the recent OAH conference in Boston, there was a session on Guns in Early America: Ownership, Meaning, and Violence with Amy A. Cox, University of California, Los Angeles, Kevin Sweeney, Amherst College, Robert H. Churchill, University of Hartford, and Randolph A. Roth, The Ohio State University. Now, obviously, I wasn't going to be invited to any such event as a presenter, since I haven't done any significant research into this topic. Did anyone attend it?
