Subject: literature on gun control appropriate for a middle
schooler

My daughter, in
7th grade, is doing a paper for her gifted class in which she is
arguing
that gun control will not achieve the results its advocates
believe, and
will make the country less safe. She and I have found a variety
of
sources, but many of them strike me as somewhat too difficult
for her.
Does anyone have recommendations for sources--this can be
books,
internet articles, journals, magazine articles, whatever--that
would be
        appropriate for her?
Thanks much if you have time from your busy schedule to answer
this
        question.
          Best,
          Danny
