If the process of buying a gun is made so onerous, then *that's*
the constitutional problem -- the same sort of problem that we'd have if
existing gun owners kept their guns but new gun owners found it
extremely hard to buy them. That guns are taken and the guns' market
value is given in exchange is not a right-to-bear-arms problem: Either
people are free to buy new guns, in which case they're not materially
worse off (except for a bit of hassle); or they're restricted in their
ability to buy new guns, in which case we should be focusing on that
restriction, not the taking.
Not all Supreme Court decisions that one dislikes are problems
for the right to bear arms.
