In his ballot support statement, city supervisor Chris Daly suggested that the the proposed San Francisco handgun ban was somehow legally different than the one that (a) was passed in the 1980's and (b) tossed-out in court.  Has anyone had the time to review the two and determine if there is any substantial changes that might allow the ban to survive a court challenge?
