I'm trying to track down the datasets of homicide and firearm homicide used
by Baker and McPhedran in "GUN LAWS AND SUDDEN DEATH - Did the Australian
Firearms Legislation of 1996 Make a Difference?".

I've contacted the authors, but "given the sensitive of the subject matter"
they are referring all inquires to Australian authorities, who have proven
to be unhelpful (evidentially pre-1988 data was culled from a book titled
"Source book of Australian criminal & social statistics, 1804-1988" and thus
electronic table data rare).

Anyone have this data already entered, or even perhaps digitized pages from
the source reference?
