This is the standard statistical shuffle that fools the average person.
Banning guns may very well make "gun crime" go down... but violent
crime almost always goes up.
It's like reducing airbag injuries by removing airbags.
It was somewhat funny when Archie Bunker dismissed his daughter's gun
death statistics with, "Would it make you feel better, little girl,
if they was all pushed outta windors?" But the pathetic fact is that
there are a lot of people in power whose bottom-line answer is "yes."
