I found this in a reader comment at Dave Hardy's web site. "Notice that Saul Cornell's Second Amendment Research Center has vanished, its "scholarly" purpose having coincidently expired with the political purpose its critics attributed to it." This appears to be accurate. I just called the John Glenn Institute at Ohio State and both of the secretaries I spoke with said "Who?" One looked in the directory and said he's not at Ohio State. Then I found the SARC listed on the Ohio State "news room" page [http://www.osu.edu/news/experts/topics.php?cID=160] but the specific URL [http://www.secondamendmentcenter.org] is out of service. If you go to the listing for "experts" under gun control you get a Charles Smith. Cornell doesn't come up on the OSU Student/Faculty/Staff Directory either [https://directory.osu.edu/findpeople.php]. ******************************************************************* Professor Joseph Olson, J.D., LL.M. o- 651-523-2142 Hamline University School of Law (MS-D2037) f- 651-523-2236 St. Paul, MN 55113-1235 c- 612-865-7956 [email protected] http://law.hamline.edu/node/784
