Forgive a topic not precisely on con law and gun policy, but I cannot think of a better group to poll.
Has any research been done on the rates of crime (especially violent crime) by the job type of the person committing the crime? I doubt there is any substantial cause/effect relationship, and this may explain the dearth of data. What launched this inquiry was a question from one of my readers asking for help to identify the rate of crimes committed by police officers (which I'm failing to find as well).
