I just read S1431 that proposes to reauthorize the "ban" on so-called assault rifles.
Interestingly enough, Mr. Lautenberg has now included the Ruger Mini-14 (but not the Mini-30)--one of the most popular sporting rifles around--and the M1 Carbine--of which there are probably a million in private hands. Weren't both of these rifles included on the "good rifle" list that Feinstein got into the 1994 legislation? Ron Moore
