No, Georgia has a fairly unusual code structure, barring carry at
"public gatherings". Many people have difficulty determining what
constitutes a public gathering, but some examples are explicitly
listed in the statute, including churches:

>(b) For the purpose of this Code section, "public gathering" shall
>include, but shall not be limited to, athletic or sporting events,
>churches or church functions, political rallies or functions, publicly
>owned or operated buildings, or establishments at which alcoholic
>beverages are sold for consumption on the premises.

So legal concealed carry is disallowed in Georgia churches.

There is an unofficial opinion which attempts to shed more light on
the issue of what is or is not a public gathering:

A shopping mall is not a public gathering. Most Georgia permit
holders appear to believe that movie theaters are not public
gathering, because admission is charged. I see no basis in Georgia
law or the unofficial opinion for that "admission is charged" rule, so
I'm just reporting what many people seem to believe.
