Hello, using isql/fsql one can supply a CACHE <int> argument at connect time. I guess that's a temporary page buffers value for this particular connection, right?
I've tried Firebird Classic and SuperClassic (I guess it isn't supported in SuperServer at all). The database has a page buffers value of 75. Connecting with a CACHE value of 10.000 and doing a SELECT COUNT(*) on a 1 million record table, won't increase memory usage as expected. Using a page buffers value of 10.000 at database-level does. Any ideas? Thanks, Thomas ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Xperia(TM) PLAY It's a major breakthrough.
