DDL operations fail after backup/restore ----------------------------------------
Key: CORE-3461 URL: http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/browse/CORE-3461 Project: Firebird Core Issue Type: Bug Affects Versions: 2.5.0 Reporter: Nickolay Samofatov Attachments: messup.cmd, messup1.sql, messup2.sql Certain DDL operations work correctly when performed on freshly created database, and fail after backup/restore cycle. The reason for failure is that system generators used to produce field names do not preserve their values during backup/restore cycle. After backup/restore generated field names are no longer unique. Scripts to reproduce are attached. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WhatsUp Gold - Download Free Network Management Software The most intuitive, comprehensive, and cost-effective network management toolset available today.
