But this is not OK from multi-instance POV. With binaries at fixed place and FIREBIRD affecting only per-instance differing things setting up many instances of firebird on same box is much simpler. May be we need 2 environment vars - one FIREBIRD fully backward coompatible and new one, something like FIREBIRD_INSTANCE? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Write once.
