If you are using the Firebird .NET provider, it is probably better to ask this question on the Firebird-net-provider mailinglist (see http://www.firebirdsql.org/en/mailing-lists/ ) It is probably a good idea to include the code that you use to create your connections (you might be using connection pooling).
