Hello,

  as I didn't get an answer last year on support lsit I'll try it on developer 
list today as I've got the same error messages trying to shut down classic 
server on Linux.

Here is the content of firebird.log from this morning:

Only resetting the machine worked this morning for recovery.

Additional Info:


The error "Operating system call pthread_mutex_destroy failed. Error code 16" 
was repeated 657 times which was the number of hanging processes after 
initiating shutdown.

The used firebird architecture is clasic server of course.
