But some question are still open: it was fixed in a refactor by 
accident, intentionally or was broke only in 2.5.

Also open is if it's a DSQL or engine (record sources / streams) problem.

It would be much easier to understand the problem if we have a simpler 
test case. For what matter, many columns from the test could just be 
eliminated, but still, something simpler would make the job easy.
