This doesn't seem likely: first warning is in extern/editline, the rest
in exter/icu, i.e. the commit you mention touches completely different
part of the sources. Moreover, none of the files where the warnings are
reported has changed since 2009.
Is it possible that the new warnings in fact appeared after a change of
toolchain versions or of compile options?
