Except cases when silent install is used (like rpm). For them listening 
just to localhost should be ok.

PS. I've never used to deal with other packages that ask user questions 
during 'make install' execution except firebird (we already ask about 
SYSDBA's password). On the other hand - who said that we should not do it?
