The mechanics of 'upgrading' is not necessarily the problem here. Most migrations are relatively easy, but many of us have a backlog of systems some still running on W2k despite it having been suposedly killed off. They are still running FB1.5 so one has to fight changes to reserved words and other little problems while maintaing compatibility with other working systems. At least I no longer have any Interbase systems live these days :) -- Lester Caine - G8HFL ----------------------------- Contact - http://lsces.co.uk/wiki/?page=contact L.S.Caine Electronic Services - http://lsces.co.uk EnquirySolve - http://enquirysolve.com/ Model Engineers Digital Workshop - http://medw.co.uk Rainbow Digital Media - http://rainbowdigitalmedia.co.uk ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DreamFactory - Open Source REST & JSON Services for HTML5 & Native Apps OAuth, Users, Roles, SQL, NoSQL, BLOB Storage and External API Access Free app hosting.
