I cannot install Firebird. I have downloaded three different installers, and
tried them all. All appear to run successfully, but when I try to find Firebird
on my machine, it's nowhere to be found. OSX 10.9 Mavericks, MacBook Pro.

                 Key: CORE-4316
                 URL: http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/browse/CORE-4316
             Project: Firebird Core
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Build Issues / Porting
    Affects Versions: 2.5.2 Update 1
Environment: Mac OS 10.9.1 Mavericks. Mac Book Pro 17"; Intel Core i7
2.2 GHz, 8 GB RAM
            Reporter: John Michael Dlugos
            Priority: Critical

I have downloaded and tried to install Firebird three different times today.
Each download is successful, and each installation appears to be successful.
Yet, when I look in my Application Folder, no Firebird. I do a search of my
entire machine, no Firebird. All that is found are the installers when
searching for "Firebird." Don't know where to go or what to do next.
