LI-2.5.3.x (64x, SuperServer) craches at the end-point of restoring when DefaultDBCachePages >= 262144 (but the database afterall appears OK) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: CORE-4352 URL: http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/browse/CORE-4352 Project: Firebird Core Issue Type: Bug Reporter: Pavel Zotov Attachments: gdb-fbserver-when-finished-restoring-with-cache-256k-and-more.zip LI-V2.5.3.26744 crashes when I restore our production database (using services) and DefaultDBCachePages >= 262144. Option `-i` (deactivate indexes during restore) has no effect: crash will be with and without using it. There is NO crash if DefaultDBCachePages = 262136 or less. There is also NO crash when restore only metadata, and no problem to restore it on FB 3.0 Alpha 2. Database after such 'pseudo-fault' restoring remains OK (checked it using gfix -v -full). Please see coredumps of fbserver in attach. I've sent link to .fbk file to Alex and Dmitry. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Flow-based real-time traffic analytics software.
