At the moment when firebird forked from interbase BLR parser was already present in remote subsystem, and it is there now. Certainly, it's limited parser that understands only BLR, describing message format. And it's hard to imagine cross-architecture message transfer without knowing what datatypes are stored in the message. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Firebird-Devel mailing list, web interface at https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/firebird-devel
