Hi,

What problem do you have with monitoring FB by nagios. We collect stats from FB
for nagios without problem

Snmp support is usually done in an external agent or as plugin in the

Hi Dmitry, responding to your request, there is one thing I’m really missing.
What do you think about a SNMP function. Currently it is very hard for us to
monitor Firebird performance over the time. It would be great to collect
information about the server status via Nagios or Zenoss. So we can see when
are the peaks in our customers memory. When are the most people active. Maybe
there is a way to track the database growth. If we are able to poll the data
from firebird server, Nagios or Zenoss can create some informational graphs.
From my point of view this would be a great and helpful feature. What do you
think? Kind Regards,Martin Köditz
