and now i got problematic message :)))
"Your user name and password are not defined. Ask your database 
administrator to set up a Firebird login."

how to provide user and pass?

About your I/O error, seems as a Delphi problem when WriteLn is used
with GUI application.

Are you building the project as GUI instead of console?
