But does it need the latest C++? I never understood the rush to use the latest compiler, the latest library, the latest build system and so on. Those things take time to settle down. We better stick to reliable festures that have been in use for years. Of course, anyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. For example, for me, templates are good for containers (and not much more than that) whereas other people would rewrite every C++ project on Earth using only templates.
