Getting the exception text doesn't look correct to me, at least for built-in exception types. We could support it for user-defined exceptions though. Getting exception parameters (status vector arguments) is a more interesting idea, but it should be discussed before implementing. So, being already off-schedule, I'd say there's no room in v3 for this feature.
