As far as I know, you will need to declare a correctly sized (or oversized) dpb
upfront. No need to resize it.

Hi @list.
Iam just another programmer from Germany and wanted to introduce myself.
I do a little bit C and C++
and sometimes Java and PHP.
Right now iam getting a bit confused about this error:
" error C4996: 'isc_expand_dpb': was declared deprecated"
Ok, it says it deprecated but i have to set username and password for
access a specific FDB at runtime
and want to do it programmatically, not with an outside environment
variable.
As far as i know isc_expand_dpb is the way to go but is now deprecated.
Where can i find the new
access methods uptodate/api specs?
