But having good examples, with some comments in the code can be the additional documentation, on how to implement the plugin. We're looking at developing our own dbcrypt plugin, but the sample files that are included in the RC1 Windows zip file are not enough for me. The sample files are just 3 .cpp files. Two of those files I can figure out what they are for(DbCrypt.cpp and CryptKeyHolder.cpp), but what is CryptApplication.cpp used for. If there would be a compilable example, then I would most likely know where they belong, and to have some comments describing the functions in the source code, would go a long way. Since FB3.0 will not have a DbCrypt plugin released with it, then it does become important to have a proper example that is compilable, even it does not include any encryption algorithm.
