Can not do second connect do db

I have one opened connection to db (over some application)
I try do second connection in other application (over isc_attach_database) a i
got
1/ if the db is on local computer ..... error Connection lost to
database
2/ if the db is on remote computer ..... error Database xyz shutdown
and connection is not open
