No, it is not right. (Thought at the same time, the current location of the lock and conf files (under Windows) is wrong/non-conformant -- they should be in \All Users\Firebird path, not Program Files\Firebird) I also do not agree that the file should be placed in a temp folder. IMO, the path should be configurable, with the default being the database folder itself.
