1) create empty file with name = 'firebird.log' (in FB_HOME, of course) and add
there TWO following lines:
foo
-----
(line N1 = 'foo'; line N2 = five hyphens; hex view see in attachment)
Then try to obtain content of this log:
%FB25_HOME%\bin\fbsvcmgr localhost:service_mgr -user sysdba -password masterkey
action_get_ib_log
You will get:
foo
-----
-----
(line #2 with five hyphens will be duplicated).
