Unfortunately not. I was executing tests from within IntelliJ.
When I run the tests using the ant build, then tests are executed in a
different order, and it looks like the error doesn't occur then.
I'll see if I can reduce the number of test cases necessary to trigger
the problem. But given +/- 900 tests run before the issue is triggered,
doesn't make it easy.

reading from the socket during a fetch.
