It can work in embedded mode though, but for Jaybird it is irrelevant.
I repeat that I find that odd. I think that the keyname could be a
relevant piece of information to select the right key for a response
from client to server (eg from a client-local keystore), or to even be
part of a crude form of validation (ie: sending the key to the right
party, or at least a party that knows the name of the key).
