After change 2.5's firebird.conf (DefaultDbCachePages = 262144,
TempCacheLimit = 2147483648 and comment out CpuAffinityMask) I got the
below numbers. I want to know why 3.0 faster (than 2.5) for you and why
2.5 faster (than 3.0) for me. I will try your Firebird configuration
with my OLTP configuration.
2.5.9.27125 SS - 2.52GB - 2540.60 - 1366 - 25406
3.0.5.33085 SS - 3.37GB - 5056.70 - 1032 - 50567
