odd as that is generated by Google itself. Maybe replying to the message
works as well? Otherwise, I suggest subscribing on

firebird-devel+subscr...@googlegroups.com
It looks like the email generated when inviting people through the admin
interface contains links that only work when you're logged in to Google.
If you're not logged in, it generates a 404 :(
In any case, above alternatives should work.
