You can configure if XMLmind indents at all, and the number of spaces, it unfortunately does not support using tabs instead of spaces. I could of course make XMLmind use a relatively large number of spaces and replace those with tabs before a commit, but that sounds a bit like a stopgap measure that is easy to forget ;) I have used XMLmind before and actually 'like' it (although it has its annoyances ;). If you have a suggestion for another tool I am willing to try that.
