I did my blasting work during the winter three years ago, and the humidity in College Station caused me fits. I had to deal with water in the lines, clumping of the aluminum oxide, etc.
If you can outsource the work for a few hundred clams, do it. I'm sure I spent that much on a blaster, air compressor cable, plastic sheeting/PVC pipe, and blasting media. And it dragged on for months. A good blaster should be able to do your body and frame in a day easily.
