First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... I have used a TIP blaster and a simple 5HP, 30 Gallon Sears compressor for years. You have to stop every 10 minutes and let the compressor catch up. I don't know about anybody else but for me I need a break at blasting about every 10 minutes anyway. I have done two complete frames and quite a bit of a body for a 56 Suburban with no problems. One winter I set up an enclosed area in one corner of my garage and blasted parts all winter long and kept reusing the sand. Just remember when using sand don't stop very long in one spot.
