I agree about the panels, etc. And cars usually look better in the pictures 
than they really are. I'd be a little skeptical to pay top dollar.  To me 
that's getting to "top dollar" I haven't looked at any personally but I see 
some nice looking 69 verts in the high teens that don't look like they need 
much. Birds are popping up for sale all over. I know the prices have and are 
still going up but I'd keep looking. Or lowball him big time.
 
After confirming that I could even get a title, and if the price was extremely 
good, I'd probably get a car with a salvaged title. I redid everything on my 
car and don't plan on selling it. But IF I ever HAD too (knock on wood) I would 
hate for all the work to go unrewarded due to a piece of paper. Mine has a 
clear title, but would the value drop a lot if it had a slavage title? I don't 
know. A classic is still a classic right?
