I have the unilite conversion kit. I have run it for 15+ years with no
problems. In fact, I once cracked one of the facets off the rotor and
simply glued it back together! Highly recommended.

Many years ago I bought a 68 convert that the guy had put alot of speed parts
on but gave
when it wouldnt run.
I trailered it home to find that he had wired a ballast resistor in with the
factory resistor wire.
I got it to run by removing the resistor block but it still woulndt run right.
So while it was running I added a jumper to the brainbox directly to the 12V on
battery and it smoothed right out.
I could remove and reconnect the jumper while it was running and it was like
night and day.
The brainbox needs 12V to it not the 8V that it gets thru the resistor wire.

On another note I have a couple of add on unilite systems I no longer use if
anyone needs spare parts.
