Funny thing about this find is that the car has been sitting in a
back yard in the middle of the city for 5 years and no one ever looked
to see what was under the cover. Good luck with your search. They're
still out there!

Too bad I didn't know that earlier this summer. My neighbor just sold
his completely restored 80 TA Hurst 4sp 400 shaker, T top car this
summer. It went for around 16K Cdn.
P.S. Congrats Chris, It's always good to see another bird getting saved
& restored by someone as detailed as you. I'm sure it will be a thing of
beauty once it's done....It amazes me that there are still a few good
solid birds hidden away waiting for some attention....I'm always rubber
necking when I travel across country looking for my 68 Ragtop barn
find..(-;

I would want a 4 Speed T/A And well they are expensive.... Though I
could get a base model and build it... humm.... That is a long way
off... I want to build another
68 or maybe a 67 before...
