Dec 2007 18:27:07 -0800 Brant, I would say you would get the best bang for the
buck by having
your 670 heads worked up. For less than the E-Heads you could have
them ported and polished and have the intake matched. At that point
the only major advantage to the E-Heads would be the weight savings.

I think you would be just as happy with either the 670's or the 62's once
they are worked over and would still have funds for other things on the car.

If you just can't pass up the deal on the E-Heads, then you can recover
some of the cost selling the 670's and the 62's... maybe enough to buy
A set of Dougs headers... I have a friend with the E-Heads who loves em...

Your in a good position, either way you go, you and the Bird win! :)

Hi Guys, I'm going to have the 428 rebuilt this winter, and I have a chance to
get aset of Edelbrock heads below dealer cost. I would like to know if I
should: 1. Buy the Edelbrock Heads 2. Rework the 62's that are on the car
now. 3. Rework the 670's in my garage. As always your knowledge is greatly
appreciated. BrantLos Angeles
